Dialogue on Consciousness and Reality: The Future of Scientific Understanding
What if consciousness is not simply a byproduct of the brain, but a fundamental aspect of reality?
On June 25, PWPA-LA brought together leading scholars whose work engages with consciousness studies across diverse fields, including physics, neuroscience, psychology, spirituality, and management, to explore the relationship among consciousness, reality, and the future of science.
Professor Alison Wakelin opened the dialogue by drawing on philosophy, neuroscience, and contemporary science to highlight the enduring mystery of subjective experience, often referred to as the “hard problem of consciousness.”
From quantum physics and neuroscience to healing and spirituality, the speakers offered diverse perspectives—including Dr. William Keepin’s call for an “epistemology of the heart.”
