Can We Live Sustainably? Lessons from History

Dr. Cliff Davidson is the Thomas and Colleen Wilmot Professor of Engineering, Emeritus at Syracuse University. He received his doctorate in Environmental Engineering Science from Caltech, and spent most of his career at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He served as President of the American Association for Aerosol Research, and is currently active on committees of the American Society of Civil Engineers. In 2022 and 2023, he served as Distinguished Lecturer of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors. He currently runs workshops on teaching sustainability in engineering courses, and conducts research on green infrastructure and human perceptions of climate change. He has over 200 refereed publications.
